In this session, we show how to use RStudio on Dardel.

Procedure to start RStudio

Below is a step-by-step procedure to start RStudio on Dardel.

1. Start a Dardel remote desktop environment

Follow the 'Interactive HPC at PDC' documentation to start a remote desktop environment on Dardel.

2. Click on 'RStudio-R4.4.0'

In the Dardel remote desktop environment, click at 'Application' in the top-left corner, then click submenu 'PDC - Data Analysis', then the menu item 'RStudio-R4.4.0' to start the job launcher.

Click 'Application | PDC - Data Analysis | RStudio-R4.4.0'

3. Select project and start job

In the job launcher, select a project at the 'Project' combobox and click 'Start' to start RStudio.

3. Ignore the update

In RStudio, click 'Ignore update'.
